Anhydrous sodium sulphate is obtained from glauberite and thenardite in two minings in Spain, located in Belorado (Burgos) and Villarrubia de Santiago (Toledo). It is used in the production of powder detergents, glass, paper, textile dyes, animal feed and chemical industry in general.
The Villarrubia plant has a production capacity of 300,000 tons / year. This underground mine obtains sodium sulphate from glauberite and thenardite to manufacture Standard Sodium Sulphate.
