Anhydrous sodium sulphate is obtained from glauberite and thenardite in two minings in Spain, located in Belorado (Burgos) and Villarrubia de Santiago (Toledo). It is used in the production of powder detergents, glass, paper, textile dyes, animal feed and chemical industry in general.

The Belorado plant has a production capacity of 340,000 tons / year. This open-pit mine obtains sodium sulphate from glauberite to manufacture different products such as: Standard, Granular, Sieved grades, light and colored Sulphates.
